A Honey Box Live event is nothing like other gigs you’ve been too. You can stream live performances from emerging bands and artists performing in a fabulous studio setting. With multiple cameras and audio mixed to the highest standards you can expect nothing short of absolute quality broadcasting to ensure you can enjoy your favourite new bands.
The live studio audience get a unique experience every single time. Audiences are invited to join us for the final broadcast, watching live as the bands, presenters and production team deliver each episode live whilst you enjoy the atmosphere, refreshments and amazing music.
For some episodes we even invite audiences to experience the final dress rehearsals and the final broadcast, this gives an opportunity to see how a broadcast is managed throughout the day. Experience the challenges and technology behind a broadcast, witness the technical capabilities of the team and enjoy spending some time with the presenters, musicians and volunteers as we prepare for the live performances right before your very eyes.

From Hip-Hop, to Blues, Traditional Folk, EDM, Techno, Jazz, country, metal, synth-pop, soul music, indie and singer songwriters. Honey Box has programmed and supported artists that have since been on to appear at Glastonbury, Tall Tree’s Festival, Wave Masters, Womad, Latitude, the Roundhouse and of course, you can still watch them performing locally too.
Since 2016 Honey Box Live has been showcasing the best in emerging talent. With the Honey Box Live playlist we strive to represent the finest musicians and performers available from a massive selection of musical genres and styles. We work with local partners to carefully curate the bands that perform, ensuring a diverse and exciting lineup, every time.
The team works closely with the artists during soundcheck and rehearsal to ensure the best sound and visuals before going live online to a global audience.
We create comprehensive promotional packages for featured artists, including high quality recordings of each individual track. As a huge thanks for each performer, the artists are given ready cut, HD quality, film footage and high-res photographs from their live streamed performance to use to further their own promotions and publicity.
We’re currently accepting submissions from new bands and musicians ahead of Series 8. A new project which is aimed at the development of local musicians, gathering vital information in the music industry of Staffordshire to determine what people feel they need most in order to progress their careers in the industry.
There will be a number of free workshops and panels, delivered by industry professionals, with the objecIve being to provide the tools and knowledge required. The project will also be offering new opportuniIes to aspiring sound and lighing engineers, as well as presenIng opportuniIes on the Honey Box.
As the Honey Box Hive project ventures into Phase Two, the team proudly presents Honey Comb, a new local music event aimed specifically at what you the musicians have asked for; a night just for you guys, to meet and chat, exchange stories and experiences and discuss potential collaborations.
In this series of events, hosted at Artisan Tap in Hartshill, our presenter Kez Liddle will be in conversation with a local musician, having in depth conversations about their song writing processes, their experiences in the industry, both locally and nationally, whilst also performing an intimate show throughout.
